Size Guide for Collars & Harnesses
How to Measure
Chest — Widest part behind front legs.
Neck — Where a collar naturally sits, two fingers of space.
💡 Use your dog's current harness/collar as reference.
Between Sizes?
Harnesses:
- Pullers or broad-chested dogs → size up
- Fine-boned small breeds → size down
Collars:
- Match the neck measurement closely
- Leave a comfortable two-finger gap
Quick Rules
Harness: Fit should be snug but not tight — you should slide two fingers under the straps.
Too big = rubbing, slipping, twisting.
Too small = pressure on throat/shoulders.
Collar: If between sizes → size up (for comfort + fur volume)
Breed Tips
- Frenchie / Pug / Boston → size up for chest room
- Chihuahua / Maltese / Toy Poodle → size down
- Corgi / Dachshund → chest first, neck second
- Fluffy breeds → measure close to the skin
