Bisou Dog was born from frustration. Dogs aren't pets. They're family. After twenty years and three dogs, I stopped accepting what the pet aisle offered: generic. cheap. boring. Small dogs deserve products made for them — not scaled-down big dog gear. Safe. Beautiful. Worthy of them. I couldn't find that store. So I built it.
Our standards
Small dogs are not scaled-down big dogs.
Their bodies, proportions, and needs are different — and most products don’t account for that.
Fit is non-negotiable.
Every product is selected with small-dog anatomy in mind, from weight and proportions to comfort and movement.
Materials matter.
Hardware must be lightweight and safe. Fabrics must feel good against the skin and last beyond one season.
Design matters too.
What we bring into our homes should be functional, beautiful, and never feel like it belongs in the pet aisle.

How we curate
We don’t carry everything. We carry what works.
Every product is evaluated through the same lens: fit, function, materials, and design — specifically for dogs between 2kg and 12kg.
We look at proportions first.
Hardware must be lightweight and scaled appropriately. Sizing must work for small bodies, not just look good on paper. If a product restricts movement, adds unnecessary weight, or compromises comfort, we don’t stock it.
Materials matter just as much.
Fabrics must feel good against the skin, wear well over time, and hold up to real use. Beauty alone isn’t enough.
Design is the final filter.
Everything we select should belong in a considered home — not feel like it came from the pet aisle.
This means our assortment is intentionally tight. We’d rather say no often than compromise once.
