At home: Place on the floor or in a quiet corner as a dog bed.
In the car: Position on the back seat. Loop the vehicle seat belt through the adjustable strap and tighten so the seat sits stable.
On the go: Lengthen the same strap onto the shoulder and lift to carry.

For first-time use, let your dog explore Lara at home for a few days before introducing it as a carrier — the familiar scent makes the car and the café feel less new.

Remove seat and cushion covers. Machine wash at 30°C. Air dry — do not tumble dry. Wipe the frame clean with a damp cloth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to protect the teddy fabric's colour over time.

How does it secure in the car?
The adjustable strap wraps around the car seat itself, holding Lara stable against the seat back during normal driving. It's designed to keep the base in place — it isn't a crash-tested safety seat, so for daily commutes or longer journeys, pair it with a separate harness clipped to the seat belt for added security for your dog.

Can I take it on a plane?
No — Lara is sized for ground use and car travel, not for airline cabin compliance. At 58 × 58 × 42 cm it sits well above most airlines' cabin carrier dimensions. For air travel, you'll need a separate cabin-approved carrier.

How do I clean it?
The seat cover and cushion cover both unzip and machine wash at 30°C. Air dry — no tumble drying, which protects the teddy fabric's texture over time. The frame itself wipes clean with a damp cloth.
