Braided Rope Leash – Sand

We selected Furlou Braided Rope Leash for daily city walks, in any weather, with dogs who pull. The double-braided nylon rope is lightweight in the hand but built to handle real tension — reinforced with sewn and whipped splice construction. Waterproof, so it wipes clean after muddy walks instead of holding the smell. Light gold zinc alloy hardware, a 1.5m length sized for control, and an O-ring on the handle for clipping a poop bag holder without breaking step.

Clip the leash to your dog's harness or collar. Hold the handle in your dominant hand and let the rope sit lightly through your fingers — the double-braided construction is comfortable to hold for longer walks. Use the O-ring on the handle to clip on a poop bag holder or training pouch. Rinse with water after muddy walks and air dry.

Rinse with water after muddy walks. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Air dry away from direct heat. Wipe the zinc alloy hardware dry to maintain finish over time.

Will it really hold a puller?
Yes. The splice — where the rope joins the hardware — is sewn and whipped with strong twine, the failure point on most rope leashes. Combined with the 1.3cm rope thickness, it handles steady pulling from small dogs without stretch or fraying. For very strong pullers in larger breeds, size up to a thicker leash.

Does it stay clean in muddy or wet weather?
The rope is waterproof — rinse with water after muddy walks and wipe down with a damp cloth. It doesn't hold mud or smell the way fabric or leather leashes do, which is the main reason we carry this version.

What's the O-ring for?
It's on the handle, sized to clip a poop bag holder, training pouch, or small accessory directly to the leash — so you stop carrying things in your other hand.
