Open the carrier and place your dog inside on the sherpa lining. Clip the interior safety strap to your dog's harness D-ring (not collar). Adjust the shoulder straps for comfort. Your dog can sit or lie down with their head resting near the side cutout. Use the exterior pocket for treats, keys, or phone.

Remove the interior safety strap before cleaning. Spot-clean the sherpa with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or iron. For the cream colourway: spot-clean small marks early to keep the colour even.

Will my dog fit?
The interior is 40 × 23 × 28cm — sized for small dogs up to 5kg. Best fit for Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles, Pomeranians, Maltese, and Yorkshire Terriers. Dogs over 5kg or longer-bodied breeds will be tight; the standard French Bandit canvas carrier (up to 7kg) is the better choice for slightly larger dogs.

How do I keep my dog safe inside?
Clip the 25cm interior safety strap to your dog's harness D-ring (not collar) before adjusting the bag onto your shoulder. The side cutout lets your dog rest their head outside the bag for comfort and visibility, but the safety strap prevents jumping out. Always carry upright.

How much warmth does the sherpa actually add?
For colder weather, the sherpa lining adds warmth and helps the carrier feel less exposed than standard canvas. In very low temperatures, layering with a sweater may still make sense depending on your dog. Not designed for hot-weather use — the insulation works against you in summer.
