Softshell Vest Harness – Brown

We selected Curli Softshell Vest Harness for cold-weather walks where the standard Air-Mesh feels too thin against wind and rain. The softshell upper is wind- and water-resistant; the air-mesh lining sits against your dog for breathability. Step-in design, Curli Clasp closure, cross-stitched nylon straps that distribute pulling pressure across the chest. The same construction logic as the Air-Mesh, with a colder-weather upper.

3XS: chest 26.7–30.1cm — 1.5–3kg (very small toy breeds)

2XS: chest 30.2–33.8cm — 2–4kg (Chihuahua, small Yorkshire Terrier, Toy Poodle)

XS: chest 33.9–38.2cm — 3.5–5.5kg (Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Maltese, small Papillon)

S: chest 38.3–43.3cm — 4.5–8kg (Dachshund, Shih Tzu, Cavalier, Mini Schnauzer)

M: chest 43.4–49cm — 6.5–10.5kg (French Bulldog ♀, Boston Terrier, Jack Russell)

Machine wash at 30°C with the Velcro closed. Do not use fabric softener — it degrades the water-resistant finish. Do not tumble dry. Air dry away from direct heat. Wipe the Curli Clasp dry after wet walks.

How does this compare to the other Curli harnesses?
Same construction across the range — step-in, Curli Clasp, cross-stitched straps, identical fit. The difference is the upper. Air-Mesh disappears under layers, for daily layering and warmer months. How do I measure for the right size?
Wrap a soft tape measure around your dog's chest at the widest point — just behind the front legs. Match that measurement to the size chart, not the weight estimate. If your dog falls between two sizes, size down. Small dogs can slip out of a harness that fits too loosely, so the right fit is snug — not roomy. You should be able to slide two fingers between the strap and the body, but no more.

Is it actually waterproof?
Water-resistant, not fully waterproof. The softshell upper handles drizzle and light rain, plus wind and snow, for the length of a normal walk. For sustained downpours, layer a waterproof coat over the top.
