We selected Curli Air-Mesh Harness for the small dog with a wardrobe. Most harnesses bulk up under a sweater or coat — straps tug at hems, buckles distort the shoulders, the whole outfit ends up wrong. This one stays slim. The step-in design avoids pulling anything over your dog's head, the air-mesh fabric is breathable on its own and disappears under layers, and the cross-stitched nylon straps distribute pressure across the chest rather than the neck. Hand wash with mild soap and cool water. Air dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Wipe the Curli Clasp dry after wet walks.

How do I measure for the right size?
Wrap a soft tape measure around your dog's chest at the widest point — just behind the front legs. Match that measurement to the size chart, not the weight estimate. If your dog falls between two sizes, size down. Small dogs can slip out of a harness that fits too loosely, so the right fit is snug — not roomy. You should be able to slide two fingers between the strap and the body, but no more.

Will my dog still pull in this harness?
The cross-stitched nylon straps distribute pulling pressure across the chest rather than the neck, which protects against neck injuries during walks. It's not a no-pull training harness — it's a daily comfort harness — but the structure is safer for dogs who occasionally lunge or pull than a flat collar.

Why this harness specifically for layering?
Most harnesses use thick padded straps that bunch under clothing, distort the fit of a sweater across the shoulders, and shift around as your dog moves. The slim air-mesh vest cut sits flat against the body — uniform, with no protruding hardware — so a sweater or coat goes on cleanly over the top.
