The Capsule Cosy Dog Coat

For dogs who take being cosy seriously. By Teddy The Capsule Cosy Dog Coat is the throw-on-and-go layer that makes chilly days feel a little more inviting. Crafted from thick, luxuriously soft sherpa, it wraps your dog in warmth without the fuss of a complicated outfit. The relaxed, legless silhouette leaves plenty of room to move, while the wrap-around Velcro fastening makes getting dressed beautifully simple. Think their favourite blanket, but socially acceptable to wear outside.

Is The Capsule Cosy Coat warm enough for winter?
The thick sherpa fabric provides a cosy layer for chilly walks and cooler days. For freezing temperatures, heavy rain, or strong winds, your dog may need additional weather protection depending on their breed, coat type, and sensitivity to cold.

Is the coat waterproof?
No waterproofing is specified for the Capsule Cosy Coat. It's designed primarily for warmth and softness rather than rain protection. For wet weather, a waterproof outer layer is a better choice.

How does the coat fasten?
The coat features an adjustable wrap-around Velcro fastening, making it easy to put on and remove without pulling it over your dog's head.

Is the fit restrictive?
The relaxed, legless silhouette is designed to give your dog comfortable freedom of movement, with room through the body for a less structured fit.

Can my dog wear it indoors?
Yes. The soft sherpa construction makes it suitable for supervised indoor wear on cooler days. Always make sure your dog remains comfortable and doesn't overheat.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog's chest circumference and back length, then compare both measurements with our Size & Fit Guide. Weight and breed suggestions are additional guides, but the correct fit depends on your dog's individual proportions.

Is it suitable for small dogs?
Yes. The XS–M size range accommodates a variety of small dogs and some medium-sized breeds. Always choose based on your dog's measurements rather than breed alone.

By Teddy started when founders Delphi and David were preparing for their puppy, Theodore, and couldn't find dog products that fit naturally into the way they wanted to live. The London-designed collection now spans travel, walk, wear, and home, with functionality built into the details rather than added as an afterthought. Think carriers with laptop storage and settle mats, coordinated walk sets, practical drying layers, and colors designed to work together. At Bisou Dog, that's what makes By Teddy interesting: the products aren't designed around leaving the dog at home. They're designed around making room for them in the life you already have.
