No. The solid brass hardware is rust-resistant and suitable for saltwater environments.

How do I clean it?
Simply rinse with water and mild soap when needed and allow it to air dry.

Is the hardware always gold?
Yes. This version features gold-tone brass hardware, although some supplier photos may show silver hardware.
