The chew bars can be happily munched on until they become a small stub. At this point, to avoid the risk of choking, simply pop it in the microwave for 30–60 seconds (depending on your dog's preference). You can also microwave it straight after unwrapping before you serve. The chew should puff up nicely, creating a cheesy Himalayan popcorn that even the fussiest dogs can't resist.
