Level 2 Enrichment Toys

Rewards are less obvious and slightly harder to access. Your dog may need to search through folds, move a section aside, pull at something, or investigate several places before finding the reward.

Level 1 gives quick, obvious success. Level 2 introduces more searching and manipulation, so your dog has to make a few decisions rather than simply follow their nose straight to the treat.

Dogs who already understand enrichment and naturally investigate toys instead of waiting for help. If your dog starts nosing, pawing, pulling, and searching as soon as treats appear, they're probably ready.

A little. Make one part easier or expose a hiding spot rather than solving the whole thing. You want to preserve the moment where they figure it out themselves.

When your dog works through Level 2 toys confidently and keeps searching even when the reward isn't immediately accessible. Level 3 is where simply finding it stops being enough.
