My dog has a chicken allergy — is this safe?
Yes. The recipe is single-protein with trout as the only animal source, with no chicken, beef, lamb, or other common allergens. The remaining 5% is inulin, rosemary extract, yeast, and the red fruit extract blend — all listed in full on the ingredients tab.

How many should I give?
As a reward or training treat, not a meal replacement. For small dogs (2–12kg), 3–8 pieces a day is a reasonable guide depending on the dog's weight and overall calorie intake. Adjust the rest of the daily food to account for treat calories. Always provide fresh water.

How is freeze-drying different from regular cooking?
Freeze-drying removes water at low temperature instead of using heat, so the protein structure, flavor, and most heat-sensitive nutrients stay intact. The result is a treat that smells and tastes much closer to fresh trout — which is part of why picky eaters respond to it.
